I am taking my own personal experiences and my pride in this community with me to Bismarck. I am prepared to support our community with responsible and effective policy. District 27 now has a new voice in the Capitol. This voice, my voice, will not be deterred by the difficult issues facing our community and our state. Instead, I will use my voice to embrace adversity, create lasting change and continue to support all of you: my friends, supporters and neighbors. Thank you for this opportunity. |
On March 14th, 2019, I was invited to testify before the House Subcommittee on Indigenous Peoples of the United States to address the growing rates of missing and murdered indigenous women in our country.
